A family situation comedy that premiered in the 1970s, the show revolved around the adventures of the combined family, formed by a widow with three daughters and who married a widower with three sons; a nutty housekeeper, Alice as mediator, and of course the family dog Tiger. Initially, when it aired, it received poor reviews, but with decades of reruns on various networks, it has earned its spot in classic television history.
